Keep in mind, the Globe is owned by John Henry, who owns the Red Sox. Take anything you read from them with a grain of salt especially when it comes to the Red Sox. Just glad I didn't hear any calls on my drive home this evening "Felgah you know the guy is bettah"

Thelonebillsfan
This is just depressing to watch. Like, for ****s sake Matt you're gonna give yourself permanent arm damage. The Mets need to just pull the plug, he's completely shot.
Thelonebillsfan
He can't even repeat his mechanics between singular pitches let alone games, which is a dead giveaway that his arm is still in pain when he throws. Which means, dude, stop.

Thelonebillsfan
What he needs to do is take a year or even two away from the game and just rehab and recover then make a comeback attempt in a couple years with a fully healthy body that he's trained up and adjusted to a new pitching style with. What he will do is sign a desperation contract with the Padres and pitch 50 innings before his shoulder explodes again and his career ends.
