Hockey guys love him and he can come with an extension. His rep could easily make #4 reasonable. A vgk fan proposed Theodore as the basis to get #4 so that they could flip for Eichel with other pieces. I'd move #4 for Theodore pretty easily. I don't think I'd say no to Theodore but I think it'd have to be a draft day trade to see where Luke goes. Not for me but for Fitzgerald. Triumph basically saying we shouldn't trade for a cap dump because a second round pick is only worth 1m is just a preposterous take. Like, I don't want our primary goal this off-season to be to trade for Loui's contract at a second round pick, but value is insanely fluid and subjective. If we aren't going to use cap / dollars and will just lose it, then a second round pick is more valuable than 4.875 million in cap for one year, regardless of what advanced analytic gives a second round pick a 1m value in a vacuum. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
