onejayhawk
If not, is there no clear cut #1, or is Rosen or Allen the right first pick? Leave out non-QB players for now. J
Teen Girl Squad
No he's not but he's probably the closest we have to one. Each of the top QBs have defined strengths and weaknesses that each team weighs differently but odds are if you were to average all of the GMs out, Darnold would come out up top
JJ6
No. You could make an argument for Darnold, Jackson and Mayfield for the #1 pick imo.
Iamcanadian
All the QB's in this draft year have serious red flags, however Darnolds' are just below the other candidates as far as seriousness goes and that is why he is likely to be the 1st QB drafted. For Rosen, it is mobility and the serious concussions and shoulder injury he suffered! For Allen, it is his completion average! For Mayfield it is his size! For Darnold, it is his fumbling! Which red flag is most likely curable? Darnold and Rosen are likely rated 1/2 but injury prone athletes rarely go in the top 5, GM's want a perfectly healthy guy, since their job can depend on the outcome! Mayfield and Allen likely come next, but Darnold is simply carrying a much higher rating than either of these 2 guys, who are being pushed up by QB desperate teams, who saw what Watson and Mahomes accomplished and think they might catch gold in a bottle as well, otherwise they would be drafted in the teens!
