  1. Idk about this take, neither OBJ nor Percy Harvin are the reason either of those teams made the Super Bowl nor are they the reason the teams won the Super Bowl. Percy played very few games in the regular season, he did have a second half kr td in the Super Bowl(in an already blow out) but otherwise had like one catch. OBJ had a mediocre season and I will give you that he was pretty dang productive in the Super Bowl before going out with the ACL, but again was not the reason they made it or won it. My point is that having elite playmakers is certainly helpful, but this is also the NFL and you never know when the next guy up is going to break out and make an impact. Have all of your stars 100% is definitely more make you or break you in the NBA than it is in the NFL(with the qb position likely being the exception).
  2. Not an OL guy so here is a question for somebody with a little more knowledge. What is it about LT that we think takes a better skill/different skill set than right tackle. What specific things don’t really transfer well from playing right tackle to switching to left tackle?
  3. Solid yes. Don't think he classifies as underrated if he is left off a top 12 list.
  4. He was boxing out and initiated contact and then fell down
  5. Lions out here making the Seahawks defense look pedestrian
  6. Can you all make sure to quote me a bunch in the near future. I want UK to be able to read what I am saying
  7. I mean the Walton family wealth is certainly on another level, but the Glazer's aren't exactly destitute.
  8. The context of trading premium picks for him probably tips the scales for me. When you give up picks for a coach you expect them to bring something above and beyond what is otherwise available. Bypassing guys like KOC and Demeco over the years is just a difficult pill to swallow. (hindsight I know) Plus I will admit, I just don't really like him as a person( also petty I know). He does seem to have the team playing competitive football, but how much of that credit should go to defensive coaches/personnel? Realistically, I should probably be more patient. He needs some time to implement his system. He is bringing along a rookie quarterback(who had a rough day) all while having a considerable lack of explosive talent on the offensive side of the ball which makes it really difficult to look like an offensive guru. That being said I just don't see all that much from a scheme/play call perspective that gets me excited. We aren't doing anything that three quarters of the league is not also doing. We are asking a rookie quarterback to throw 30+ times per game. I would personally like to see them put Nix under center with more frequency and try to get some push and get a run game going. Our run game outta shotgun is pedestrian at best. Our last two drives were also pretty questionable. The roll out with the pass to the flat on the second to last drive in particular. If you are going to go conservative and chew clock why do you then call a play with the primary read to the flat for five yards. Why take the chance of an incompletion for limited upside. I will try and watch that particular play again, maybe he thought he would catch them off guard and it was designed for a play further down the field and he was giving Nix a chance to go win the game but hard to say without looking at film. I think it is fair to say that my frustrations are more with the Broncos as a franchise lately. I need to get used to practicing patience, we all knew it would be difficult to dig our way out of the hole we created with the Russ debacle.
  9. All valid points. Just saying I guarantee you all had posters dog piling Josh Allen in 2018. The NFL isn't college, college starts don't make you an NFL vet. Just because he is older and started in college doesn't mean he gets four games to label him one way or another.
  10. IF they are winning super bowls consistently I think you can.
  11. Not saying Bo is gonna end up being anywhere near the player Josh Allen is but this board has a very short memory. Josh Allen was terrible in 2018 and had multiple starts with less than 90 yards passing. Just seems odd that Bills fans are piling on.
  12. Not sure why they blew it dead. Shoulda been a scoop and score
  13. Rodgers with the read option. What year is it?
