  1. Hope RSJ and Vernon aren't out long but both looked to have bad knee injuries. Been surprising how much we seemed to go away from RSJ in the last few weeks. Would've been nice to have Genard Avery to fill in with Vernon out if he misses time. Baker needs a TE based on his play traits. We need Njoku back and to hit on a TE in the draft. With Vernon out, I guess it's Chad Thomas time more full time. He's played well against the run, but with increased pass rush snaps it will be interesting to see what he can do in that regard.
  2. @NateDawg He gone. A lack of composure emotionally after a tough loss. I wouldn't be shocked to see him put on I.R. then waived injured or out-right cut. He's a Wilks favorite schematically and of course would be interesting to see Dorsey cut him when he's accepted worse. My guess is that that if Eric Murray is out a prolonged period of time Dorsey won't make a move.
  3. Where are all the Chubby/Fat Baker Truthers.. the non-neck beard chin seems to be growing.. Thanksgiving/holiday food might need to be on the radar ... lol
  4. hahah.. enjoy taking the emotional people twitterverse seriously man. I can't engage in that internet cesspool even to review certain stuff when told by people to check it out. Twitter and reactions when people or fans are angry is madness. Imagine getting death threats, hateful messages of all varieties, the heart of human darkness spewed at you from random people who mostly find life to not have the significance or meaning they'd like so they invest their emotions heavily in a sport that ultimately has nothing of value to do with their existence. It has to be insane. The tweet I translated was one I saw in a link posted on the forum that included him saying "take it in blood.. i had a broken hand. I haven't seen any others. "My translation of that one takes into account that context of insanity w/ some historical context. If Whitehead actually did tweet "imma kill you B&$@!, that’s on blood,” then his judgment and how emotional he gets needs to be addressed by teammates and/or others. However, if you want to believe that Whitehead is literally threatening to kill someone then you can go about believing that, but it stands to reason that taking that as a literally ignores how human language is used combatively especially when in a serious aggressive argument with another person/others within the context in which a person themselves has been receiving hateful/threatening messages from a wide-variety of sources. Players that play poorly get death threats, evil wishes messages all the time. What's true is that Whitehead if he indeed tweeted all of those various things needs to learn how to deal with such things a lot better and how he deals with things should be addressed with him by various people assuming he's still going to be apart of the team.
  5. I'm a true JAG. I really haven't watched a lot of players yet this year to have an substantive opinion/evaluation based in evidence beyond the top guys so I haven't seen Cheyenne O'Grady yet but I'll add him to my list. Thanks. For me it's all about positional scarcity in a given year. So, I'd go with Wirfs, a LT, over a Hybrid LB/S (Simmons), A box specialist (Delpit), and a run stopping line displacing NT with some pass rush versatility (Derrick Brown). Even though this LT/OT class is deep they are all going to go early and often and be off the board by the middle of round 2 at the latest. There are Tackles I like more than Wirfs but he's going to be a good one imo. From what I've seen thus far we'll be able to find a Hybrid more box Safety dominant and NT with pass rush in the 2nd-4th based on the depth of this class. The way Wilks uses his box specialist safety doesn't require all world, high draft selection type of players. Unless that player is on the level of a Jamal Adams or Derwin James then we don't need to spend high draft capital on that box specialist/hybrid player. I like Simmons a lot and Delpit as well but they are close to that level. Would've loved to have had an all word athlete with speed at that position like Darnell Savage even though he had a slight build. There are going to be some speed box specialist with higher upside available later rather than going high with Delpit/Simmons. If the question was who do I like the most as a prospect, it goes 1.) Derrick Brown (he's taken his game to a different level by returning to college), 2.) Tristan Wirfs, 3.) Isaiah SImmons (I liked his film a lot more last year), and 4.) Grant Delpit. I see Simmons and Delpit as early 2nd to late 2nd type of guys (both will go much higher) although I once saw them both as 1st round value players. Derrck Brown and Wirfs are top 20.
  6. Uhh... as it turns out Nigh was just as real as fever pitch dream... there is no more... the prophecy did not foretell this sadness lol.,
  7. that's mind character to you bub .. i prefer to be referred to in non-whynary terms/adjective so please so instead of "man" please use random letters in the alphabet or random noises depicted in via language so I don't get offended.
  8. hahaha.. "racial threatening tweets" He needs to be cut because he was trash on the field. A Tweet to a reporter and/or twitter people who think they have the right to message another human being hate/negative stuff even when they can't play pro ball or have their own personal shortcomings is not reason to cut a player per se. I'll help some of you who may be unfamiliar with the vernacular Whitehead is speaking in. Here's a translation in essence: "Get the F-out of here. Who the F-do you think you are talking to. If you want to talk sh** over twitter I bet you're a p*** in real life and won't see me in person and say to my face and have to deal with the consequences. I played with a broken hand. You don't own me white person and don't have the right to talk to me however you want. F-you." If he played with a broken hand, that is very admirable. He went down on his hand early in the game as if he broke his wrist but kept playing. That might explain not wanting to arm tackle. In that case, he should've left the game b/c he was going to hurt the team. If you're in there injured, it's on the player to still make the plays. He's been trash mostly all year anyway. Hopefully, Sheldrick Redwine or someone else can step up.
  9. A few drops or miscues doesn't matter in my mind... you have to play the averages with an all time talent. Whether he's making mistakes or not you have to go to him just because the explosive potential and that more often than not it will be big plays.
  10. I don't want to hear Sh** from Freddie or Baker about how "you can't force the ball to one guy; you have to go threw progressions." Take ownership... OBJ should be getting more targets period.. and so should Jarvis... I cannot believe we F-in lost this game to Brandon Allen and a middling Broncos team... UN-F-IN-Believable...
  11. He should be pissed ... He's held back his frustrations very well so far this season... would be great if he could hold it together postgame but I doubt it.. He has to get the ball there ... or at least a shot... If we're not going to use him, we should trade him.
  12. Throw it to OBJ... OBJ looks to Baker for a go ball pre-snap with a signal... Baker misses it... Snap.. throw over the middle to Jarvis in double coverage.. Just heave it up to OBJ 1 on 1 .. Chris Harris or not...
  13. This rookie QB is playing savvy man... His cadence is so hard to pick up on .. his long calls... Bolles had to hold there... We need a rookie QB to do some rookie things..
  14. Khalil Hodge getting all the snaps over Rashard Higgins... Some odd stuff this season with Genard Avery and Rashard Higgins being young impact players phased out of the meaningful snaps. Higgins was injured at first but he's good to go now.
  15. Who cares if OBJ drops one here or there... Just keep giving him chances to elevate the game
  16. Oh would you look at that... throwing it to OBJ and giving him a chance and he does something..
  17. The crazy thing is if he decides to handover play-calling I'm not confident that he'll ever become an elite CEO/Program Leader or even a good one. What's missed in the Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay "OC HC hires" is that they both had elite qualities as Program Leader Head Coaches. You don't hire an OC with a small sample size as your program leader.
  18. Plenty of time left... no need to press... Run it with Chubb.. Throw just one time down field to Callaway or OBJ... just try it once...
  19. At some point you have to make a play.. If our decision was based on previous drives then we should've kicked the FG. I'd bet on Chubb for a yard over Baker for a long yard QB sneak; it's just never going to be his strong point.
  20. It's almost as if OBJ doesn't exist... OBJ isn't the type of WR that has to be open in order to throw it to him.. worse comes to worse he could draw a PI or go up and make a spectacular catch...
