Draft advice

I pick 6th in what is essentially a 16 team dynasty league. I’d bet my life the first 3 picks will be Barkley-Freeman-Johnson. I’ve already heard those guys talking about it. Not sure who is going 4 & 5. My fear is it will be Penny and Michel. That brings me to the Ronald Jones question. Just a few weeks ago I would’ve bet he’d be the #2 pick in my league. But he has looked awful. A couple other guys who are available are Tarik Cohen, Duke Johnson, CJ Anderson, Peyton Barber. I don’t really need a 1st round WR. If Penny or Michel make it to me I’m taking him, but if they don’t, should I take a chance on the rookie Jones, or go for the guy that’s productive in Cohen or Barber?

I’m taking Michel. I’m not convinced Penny is even better than Carson. I’m not even sure Jones is an NFL starter.

Hey I agree about Michel. He may get off to a slow start, but talent wise I think he’s the 2nd best rookie back out there, and that includes a healthy Guice. If Michel is gone but Penny was there for me I’d take him. I think he’s gonna be the man there eventually and he has potential to be explosive.

But like I said, my fear is they’re both gone, and I’m stuck deciding between Jones, Barber, & Cohen. It’s non-ppr, or I’d easily take Cohen there.

Had my draft yesterday, glad I’m not a betting man, I said I’d bet my life it’d go Barkley-Freeman-Johnson. It went Barkley-Freeman-Josh Gordon- Ronald Jones- Penny. I took Kerryon Johnson over Michel. I had 3 2nd round picks, so with the first one I took Guice. So I’m pretty happy with how it fell.
