Why isn't the NFC living up to the hype?

Eh, it's only Week 7 entering 8.  I think its entirely possible we see teams like the Packers (3-2-1), Vikings (4-2-1), and Panthers (4-2) go on a run.  Packers have Aaron Rodgers and Vikings/Panthers are two of the most balanced teams in the league, although me saying that is an assumption Dalvin Cook returns to form.

Rams have looked like the class of the NFC so far, but they haven't faced the other top teams in the NFC yet aside from the Vikings.  Not saying that to take away from them because they are clearly a good team, but it very well still could be a bloodbath at the top.  Rams in their next 4 games play the Packers (match-up favors Rams but who is counting out Rodgers?), @ Saints, Seahawks, and Chiefs.  That's a tough stretch.  Who knows, maybe they finish that stretch 9-2 and the Panthers, Saints, Packers, and Vikings (Panthers don't play any of those teams and Packers/Vikings play 1 game against each other) are only at 2 or 3 losses at that same point.  And they would still have games against the Bears, Lions, and Eagles.

The Falcons have to be one of the most disappointing teams in the league. It's only week 7, and if they lose yet again tonight, they would be 3.5 games back of the NFC South leading Saints. Definitely didn't expect them to be this bad coming into the year. The Eagles also haven't looked like the 2017 team that won the Super Bowl.
