Maybe the heat? Last season it was a fantastic game plan and execution, especially on D. Howard shut down Cooks.

It's also that MIA's strength has traditionally been pass rush on DL.  That's always a Brady nemesis.  Add in the fact that their secondary is very good at man coverage, it's a bad mismatch on paper.   They are vulnerable to the run...which is why NE just torched them, they were pounding the rock with Sony Michel and then the Fins had no answer for James White (and strangely enough, decided to not cover C-Patt a couple of times lol, although one was a well executed pick play).     They've also had a couple of week 17 games where BB decided to not go all out for top seed, but keep his guys fresh - in 2015, it probably cost them, as we probably don't win by 2 pts in Foxborough (they usually killed us there).   The same happened last year in Week 13, but NE bounced back with that infamous PIT game and JAX choked away their advantage late.  But yeah, weird for sure.

I dunno if it is. It certainly is whenever we play your lot, but up to that game, Brady's passer rating was actually better when he was throwing hot. It's not this season, so we will certainly struggle/lose the MIA game. I can't tell whether it's good to blitz Brady or not - sometimes he struggles, other times he torches teams

Blitzing Brady hasn't been the right idea in the past - it's the ability to get pressure with only 4 guys, and pressure inside even more so.  Teams that can do that have always given Brady the most trouble.

Yeah, that's the one. Or be Von Miller.
