Like I said for Les Miles, both coaches can bring in younger innovators who can keep them up to date with the game. However, the rumor I heard was that Gene Chizik was being brought in as his DC. He didn't do well at UNC the first time after being out of the game for a bit, and he's sat since resigning, so I can't see that being a slam dunk hire. Oh, it has. Just watch the MegaCasts he was a part of. He was straight up just asking the other coaches questions because he didn't know everything that was happening.
