With that said we need to get out of the mindset of going D with our top picks every year. We are officially average on that side (top 10 in yards, 17th in points per game). If we got an OL or WR with our pick 1b, would be fine. Say it out load; -On the OL- we've played with a stop gap guard 2 years in a row and Bulaga isn't reliable -WR- We've been playing a 5th and 6th round rookies this year (who beat a 4th rounder). I think EQ and MVS have potential, but there is a reason they dropped (limited route running ability, based on missed communications, questionable attention to detail, hands) TE- Jimmy Grahm might not be on the team It is no wonder our O is struggling. Some people don't understand literally anything about how tough it is to find good offensive linemen in this league, so good luck convincing literally anybody here about that. Bulaga can't stay on the field, his knees are bad. If he could stay healthy, then yeah keep him or slide him inside to RG. What's harder then finding good offensive linemen? Bulaga is better for next year than any 4-7 round rookie. Lindstrom is rated very good at G, you have Spriggs and McGray that could play RT. If not, then you have Cajuste and or Lapuaho (If healthy). Drafting him in round 7 isn't really losing anything if he bombs, put if he can be that nasty dude before injuries, he could surprise. So, there are options. If Bulaga gets a pass from the medical staff before next season, then sure, keep him, but, injuries are taking a toll on him. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
