Dome
Draft Rules This will be very similar to a snake draft, however I will be picking at the end of each round to assure that I’m not trying to pick up actors from other participant’s big boards. Participants will be expected to send in a big board each round if there is a chance they won’t be around for more than 8 or so hours as we approach their pick. This will ensure that the draft moves as quickly as possible. Participants who aren’t making picks in a timely fashion and aren’t sending in big boards will likely have their pick skipped. Skipped picks can be made at any time when that participant returns. Selections Each actor may have a total of 6 points spent on them, once they have reached that cap they will no longer be able to sign up for new films. They are also capped at 3 films each. If an actor has been drafted to 3 films they cannot be drafted again even if they haven’t had 6 points spent on them yet. You spend points on actors by drafting them with your draft picks. The point values (or for crew members, the number of films they’re available to work) for each round are shown below. When you sign an actor to you film, please categorize them as a leading actor, a supporting actor, or a minor side role. Round - Points 1st and 2nd Round - 6 points 3rd and 4th Round - 5 points 5th and 6th Round - 4 points 7th and 8th Round - 3 points 9th and 10th Round - 2 points After the 10th Round - 1 Point Crew: Director (One film per director) Writer/Composer/Producer/Lighting/Effects/Cinematography/etc. etc.(Two Films each) Edited January 16, 2020 by Dome
Dome
I took the liberty of signing up the twins, because I remember for sure they both said they were ready for another.
MacReady
I will have to wait and see what the rules look like before I commit to this. I’ll probably sign up, but I still want to wait and see first. Definitely have to do better on the draft. People straight up abandoning it or taking forever was obnoxious. Should really have some kind of budget system. You lose/gain actor/director slots depending on the estimated budget of your movie. Low budget movies can spend more on the cast type of thing. I know it’s unlikely, but I think it should be purely original stories. No adaptations, no sequels, no prequels, no pre-existing characters. I know I did that, but I regretted it.
Dome
Just now, Outpost31 said: Definitely have to do better on the draft. I'm either doing a public and transparent bidding system, or I'll take the last spot in each round and people will be forced to send me big boards or lose their turn.

I might split the difference here and say new stories only, but leave it open ended after that.
rackcs
Dope, I'm in. I can help keep the draft picks organized and everything like I did with the last one if you like. And I'm ok with some kind of bidding system but it would take a good amount of work to make sure it worked and everything. I honestly don’t care for others, I just don’t want to cop out and go with something like I did last time. So if you make it a rule for me I’m good with it.
Elky
Sorry for the lack of a write up; if you watched Batman TAS, you already know what a Mr. Freeze origin story is going to be. But I'm in; had other movie ideas. Edited January 14, 2020 by Elky
Dome
Couple ideas on the selection process... lemme know what y'all think 1) a point system... actors can have a certain amount of points spent on them, once they reach the limit, they're booked and cannot be in any more films. ex: say all actors can have 5 points spent on them. maybe the first 2 rounds are 5 point rounds, anyone taken in those rounds cannot be in other flims. maybe rounds 3-4 are 4 point rounds, 5-6 are 3 point rounds, and so on. 2) a budget system. ex: everyone has a budget. in a bid thread you can make an offer one one actor at a time, if you place a bid on the actor and nobody bids higher over 72 hours, they're yours. MacReady
I think it should still be a draft system.
Daboyle
I have an idea but I don’t know how likely I’ll be able to get the people I want. You can put me in
MacReady
Just confirm it for me, Dome. I just can’t decide if I want to seriously compete for Best Picture with the best movie idea I have ever had or go with Wynners, which is Fargo meets The Exorcist.
