kingseanjohn
@KC_Guy does this mean that he'd be eligible for a comp pick consideration or is this like cutting him? To me, this solidifies that we need to draft an OT to become the swing guy and potential future starter.
KC_Guy
I thought so, but overthecap reported they changed the rules to avoid circumventing the "no comp if cut"-rule And wrt the swing guy: I think they may see Rankin as the solution. mayanfootball
Erving played more OG than OT. He wasn't good at either. Never knew what the snap count was. Edited March 1, 2020 by mayanfootball
KCsb
This move clears $3.2 million from the team's salary cap for the coming season. This puts the club at approximately $19.2 million worth of free space. It also places more emphasis on drafting an interior lineman in the upcoming draft.
