I agree, but he has had some good drafts in the past. When you have twenty tries at something with say seven picks per year, then yeah, an average drafter will have some good picks. There is no doubt that there have been some great people throughout the years that have had a tremendous influence on the scouting and draft selection process for the Patriots. Without those influences - be it executives, scouts, or other coaches/assistants - Belichick and Caserio are below average. They're getting worse too. But like Murray, it isn't a very funny one.

Deadpulse
J'mar Smith highlights look like Lamar Jackson highlights. Obviously that's hyperbolic but still

Practicing against him should help better prepare us for these mobile QBs that often tear us apart.

Obviously that's hyperbolic but still If we are being hyperbolic I think his running reminds me of Patrick Mahomes more so but with a longer stride at full speed and a little faster. Passing reminds me of Tyrod Taylor a bit with the wind up and delivery. Like @jofos said, he is QB3. Bet he sticks there.
DoleINGout
I see the Patriots draft style now. Trade all your picks for proven veterans and sign UDFA to make your roster. Any remaining draft picks they dont or cant trade are simply used to get their UDFA sooner.

Looks like a good returner. Something to keep an eye on. Gunner may be in trouble here. Edelman, Harry, Byrd, Sanu, Meyers, Riley at receiver 2020. Hunter2_1
According to Phil Perry, he's been on the phone to Nick Caserio, who said they had 3 names at the top of their list of players they'd love to come away with on day 2. Two of them were Kyle Dugger and Josh Uche. If true, we've nailed the f draft in our office's minds.
