RECRUITING BOARD - YEAR 3
Player Position Player Type State Star OFF DEF Height Weight National Rank Positional Rank Interest
Cameron Owens PF Complete Post MN *** C+ B 7'0" 234 171 41 Highest
Bonzi Wilkins PF Complete Post ID *** D+ A- 6'7" 209 193 50 Highest

Liam Ford PG Passer Scorer LA ** C+ B 6'2" 191 675 122 Highest

I still need SF help but there are none worth targeting.  If Bonzi Wilkins is athletic enough maybe he could play some minutes at SF.  Owens and Wilkins are both the highest recruits I've had interested in me yet.  I need to add a PG too.

END OF REGULAR SEASON - YEAR 3

Final record was 17-12, with a 13-5 in conference record.  I finished 3rd in the conference (out of 11) behind only Norfolk State and UMES.  BTW Norfolk State was projected to finish 8th in the conference so they exceeded expectations by a LARGE margin.  My team finished the season with an RPI of 146.

IN CONFERENCE STATS/RANKINGS
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG Turnovers Fouls FG% 3PT%
72.3 - 5th 31.7 - 4th 15.8 - 4th 5.0 - 7th 6.4 - 3rd 421 - 8th 511 - 4th 44.8 - 4th 36.2 - 9th

My stats were pretty much down across the board, but that is to be expected with a younger starting lineup.  Promising that fouls were down and my shooting % was solid.

TOP STAT PERFORMERS - YEAR 3
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG
SG S Lawrence - 18.3 C G Wiggins - 9.1 PG #3 - 5.9 PG #3 - 1.0 C G Wiggins - 1.5
PF B Royal - 14.6 PF B Royal - 7.6 PG #22 - 3.1 SF E Middleton - 0.7 PF B Royal - 1.4
PG #3 - 12.1 C C Luca - 5.7 SG S Lawrence - 2.3 SG S Lawrence - 0.7 SG S Lawrence - 1.1

I need more rebounding from my bigs.  Also if Lawrence is going to be more scoring leader I need him over 20 PPG.  The assists are still really low too.

PLAYERS LEAVING

PG #3, 76 OVR, Graduating

PG #22, 74 OVR, Graduating

SF #10, 65 OVR, Transferring

SG Dominic Tillman, 62 OVR, Graduating

Another SF transferring.  He wasn't very good but its really making me thin at the position.  Tillman was a walk on who didn't play any minutes.

RECRUITING CLASS - YEAR 3
Position Name Height Weight OVR FG 3PT DUNK STL BLK OREB DREB PASS SPD QUICK VERT STR
PF Cameron Owens 7'0" 234 74 83 56 73 59 76 63 68 57 77 69 62 80
PF Bonzi Wilkins 6'7" 209 71 78 50 47 66 71 64 67 62 72 79 64 86
PG Tim Gaskins 6'2" 186 64 70 66 37 58 42 47 37 65 73 84 51 58

This is my best recruiting class yet.  Owens and Wilkins will both start as Freshman.  Owens has great size at 7'0", and he already has a better Block and OREB rating than my starting Center.  He may end up at Center in the future if I recruit some better forwards to go along him.  Speaking of, Bonzi Wilkins will start at SF, which isn't ideal since he can't shoot 3s, but he looks like a good defender.  Gaskins is pretty raw but I needed a PG.

I'm actually quite familiar with this conference as VCU is a member IRL (this game was before they joined the conference).  I have one of the worst benches in the league.
