He's on the same trajectory as Burke. 91 OVR by 24 yo. Very similar skill set too. Both players can swing between the 3 and 4. I would agree. He'll probably be the best player on the team in another season or two.
theJ
Updated player cards. Burke and Gatson both got new sig skills. Burke's is especially exciting. The floor general sig skill is basically a adder to everyone else's stats while Burke is on the floor. Kyle Lowry had it a few seasons back when i had him. It's a cheat code on offense. Goodman's jump on offense is more apparent after putting his card together. theJ
No lottery picks this year, obviously. I have the #30 pick, so it's going to be someone bad. I'm only going to post a few key targets at that pick. Thunder got the #1 pick. Nets have #3 and #6, and they need it (two players in the mid-80s). theJ
Not much time tonight, so this is the last update. Player Deals (pre-draft) Exercised Team Option on Bernard Hughes (3.67M) Exercised Team Option on Warren Conley (2.31M) Exercised Team Option on Ernest Dean (2.13M) Declined Team Option on Reggie Gaines Qualifying Offer extended to Gerald Gatson (6.3M) I also made offers to Oliver Gatling (4 years) and Jake Tate (1 year plus player option). If Tate accepts, that will be my one and only free agency move. I won't find out if they accept until FA.
theJ
Ok, to the draft. These are just the targets at #30. I want that 7' SF, but i have a feeling he's going to be gone. I'll consider trading up to the 20-25 range using one of my back end roster guys. theJ
Ah Dee Boyd went #18. To the Celtics. They won't talk about a trade unless i have a SF to give them. So i'm going to take the top SF at #30 and see if they're willing to listen.

theJ
Not a great draft. But, i committed highway robbery of the Celtics. An F potential for a C! theJ
Free Agency Signed Jake Tate to 1 year, 3.27M deal with 1 year player option Signed Oliver Gatling to a 4 year, 7.86M deal After day 1, Gatson has 2 other offers on the table. Should be interesting what he gets.
theJ
Gatson was offered a 4 year, 87.84M deal which i have no problem matching. I figured he'd get something like that. Probably a little less than i would have offered.
