That drought is now at 35 years. If ND is its own conference it has the longest active title drought of all P5 conferences, 16 years longer than the next-longest drought that of the Pac-12 which unfortunately for NBC was ND rival USC, who will be appearing on NBC more starting next season as they will join the Big Ten. Someone also needs to work on the Notre Dame WRs -- this is two years in a row where the leading receiver is a TE and the passing game can't get going outside of Chris Tyree and the starting TE.
