Yeah Floyd had a degenerative/permanent nerve damage in his knee and is totally done. I actually googled “Sharif(f) Floyd“ instead of Sharif Finch accidentally when trying to look up what Finch had done since the draft, despite knowing who Finch is.... i was just running in auto mode and wasn’t thinking. He does have something the guys he’s competing with at DE/OLB for a roster spot lack: speed and athleticism. We really don’t have a pure speed rusher and he can bring that. Plus I think he can play SAM in a pinch. but really it’ll come mostly down to his ST play, which is pretty good at.
