Honestly what is the argument against him getting in considering where he stands statistically compared to other linebackers As subjective as it is, you can't just ignore their accolades and only look at the stat sheet. I'd argue the accolades are more important than a simple stats sheet. Clay Matthews, Jr.: 1x 2nd Team All-Pro, 4x Pro Bowler Brian Urlacher: 2006 DPOY, 4x 1st Team All-Pro, 1x 2nd Team All-Pro, NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, 8x Pro Bowler Junior Seau: 1992 DPOY, 8x 1st Team All-Pro, 2x 2nd Team All-Pro, NFL 1990s All-Decade Team, 12x Pro Bowler Derrick Brooks: 2002 DPOY, 5x 1st Team All-Pro, 4x 2nd Team All-Pro, NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, 11x Pro Bowler

The accolades follow stats.
Apparition
I have no idea how people are picking Rodney Harrison ahead of Richard Seymour. Harrison was only an elite safety for a brief period. Seymour was one of the most dominant defensive linemen of his generation (certainly the best 3-4 DE of the 21st century pre-JJ Watt) and was voted 1st team All-Decade.

You are actually incorrect about this. There is a set number of modern era players and a possibility of one or two senior member nominees. You cant have more than five modern era eligible players in any current year.
