The Atlanta Falcons will face off against the New England Patriots in the Superbowl. New England made the Superbowl last year as well, losing to the Giants.

The following Broncos made the Pro Bowl:

  • rookie DT Greg Miles
  • rookie RB Julius Jones? How?

That's it.

We had one player upgrade his dev trait.... and you will never guess who. OLB Michael Smith is now a star. Okay? Neither of my Pro Bowlers, or my QB who had almost 5k passing yards. booo.

McGee with another solid year, Bryce Ramsey had a comparable year, but the Falcons went 14-2. Surely McGee must be the facvourite for his 2nd MVP? He should have won thje last 2, maybe they rob him again.

Congrats to Oliver McGee for winning his 2nd MVP! You have to think he still has a couple ahead. He is still only 30, which is insane, should have 4 MVPs, and has 3 Superbowl wins (and has a chance for a 4th this week).

The Atlanta Falcons have won the Super Bowl 17-14 over the New England Patriots - DT Derrick Duke was the Super Bowl MVP. He had 1 sack lmao. Both teams had terrible stats, probably one of the worst Superbowls to watch ever.

2030 Free Agency

WR Jarrad McFarland, CB Jason Seawright and DE Deone Slaughter are all Free Agents. McFarland is now an 89 overall X Factor. I am gonna shoot my shot on a 3 year deal for him. He wants 4 years, but no way I am offering that.

Seawright wants a huge deal and honestly I have my #1 corner. I'm good.

Slaughter is an 82 LE and I just drafted Hale who is 75, I think I will stick with Hale.

  • The Broncos have offered Jarrad McFarland a 3 year $55.5M deal.

WR Jarrad McFarland has accepted the Broncos offer, let's go! Next year we will actually have a really good WR group.

That's it, I am not going to sign any more players. This wasd one too many already... though I might grab a nice vet presence next off-season, perhaps the Sherriff if the Falcons let him go, which I think they will have to.

Before I forget I am going to post this trade. I had to trade my 2nd 2nd again this year, just pushed it off to the Falcons next year's 2nd (giving back their 2nd this year).

I am going to trade my RE Ben Watson who is one of the top players on the team, but I didn't draft him. I am going to move up a bit in the 2nd to do this.

2030 Scouting

I'll fiugure out where I got these picks from soon enough. Not sure where I got the 2nd last year, but I'd love to turn that into a 1st.

I have some needs this year again, and this draft is looking pretty good to satisfy those needs. There are a good amount of mif round guys who have 1st round talent at positions of need.

Nothing really special about this class, except we have the highest combine score I have seen as of yet, HB KC Watkins scored an 8.0. He ran a 4.50, 36" vert, 10'7" broad, 6.84 cone, 4.29 shuttle, and 30 reps. They ranked 10, 1, 1, 5, 21, 2. Not sure how that really warrants the highest combine grade in the series.

WR AJ Bates is similar. I won't br drafting him, but included him for the combiner. Agaian, poor speed and agility, don't get it.

I pick twice in the mid 1st, so these early 1st players are just here because I really like them, just have no shot. Amare Nowell would be a perfect starting safety, amazing combine too. Fortunately there are some mid round safeties who look alright.

I don't pick until 12th, but I am hoping I have a couple guys still around that I want. There are a handful of OL here, but I really don't need OL right now. I am really hoping Julius Smith drops to me so I can add to the edge room. Let's sim to 12, and here's the board of who I'm looking at with my two 1st rounders.

The Bengals took WR AJ Bates 2nd overall, which makes sense since they lost Higgins. The Vikings took CB Baskerville 3rd, which is weird because they signed Seawright from the Falcons. Guesds that will be a strength now because he is 78 overall.

The Jags took FS Nowell at 6, 76 ovr. Packers took Hitchens at 7, 77 ovr.

The Red Dragons are on the clock at 11 right before me. Wait, WHO?

The Buffalo Bills have moved to San Diego, and are now the San Diego Red Dragons!

6pSxl2ps.png

LMAO If they start this off by taking Julius Smith we will have a problem.

They took RE Kristian Linsley who is 73. Hope he is a good first pick for the franchise!

I am on the clock at 12. My targets are there.

I pick at 12 and 17. I am hoping to get both Julius Smith and Junior Armstrong, btu can definitely get one now. Because there is another corner I like (Warmack) I am going to start with SMith and cope Armstrong makes it to 17.

Definitely the right pick! Since the ROLB I drafted year 1 hasn't progressed (Justin Warner) I will definitely be starting Smith right away. Not sure which side though. Michael Smith who is currently starting LOLB is a worse player overall, but is now a Star. I think I will probably start Julius Smith at LOLB for now.

Let's go to 17 and hope Armstrong makes it there.
