Truthfully, they should say they need to hold out Hurts another week for precautionary reasons just to give it another look with a more traditional QB. I mean, the Jets aren't great, but neither is Minshew. He's a low cap starter or excellent back up. The WFT isn't exactly a beast of a defense this year, but has been playing better as of late and would provide at least a stiffer test to see what this team and offense looks like in a more traditional sense.

The problem is we have our bye coming up and Hurts practiced this week. Hurts is playing no matter what. The traditional offense was a really nice change of pace today though.
