I'm not sure what Winnipeg is going to do with him now. At this point, they have to be considering just letting him go back to school for a year and hoping that they can get him to sign next year by offering him a roster spot. Doesn't seem like he's opposed to playing in Winnipeg, so they may want to shoot their shot at getting him in next year when there are some more open spots .
