Welcome to the nfl, rookie...haha.

Yes it's nuts that any of these guys get paid the amounts they do.

3/110 is fair imo considering current contracts. As long as we can get out of it decently after year two and completely clean after year 3 (would work well for both sides cause if after two years he exceeds the contract he can get a new one before 30)

We haven't officially started yet but getting trade offers.

Houston is actively shopping Brandin Cooks.

Any interest, if so what draft round would you value him at?

No thank you! $26M cap hit for a 30 year old wide receivers coming off a bad season.

I’m not familiar with trades and the salary hits. How do you get $13M?  I might send one of our 6th then.

Base salary....signing bonus stays with previous team as dead money.

6th seems a little low but I get where you're coming from.  Age, attitude, demanding trade, etc.

His base salary is $18M for ‘23, $13M for ‘24.

Age, salary, coming off a poor season. If we are on the cusp, I’ll go for him, but we aren’t there yet.

My bad, must have looked at the wrong year.  Setting up this mock every number is a blur.

A a devil's advocate, I like Cooks, and I think he'd be a boon in our Offense; if all we give up is a fourth, I'd be fine with it. He's better than anyone we'd get at that point imo

We have $47M. Taking on his contract would put us at $29M. Cut Golladay puts us at $36M. Even if we backload both Jones and Barkley, we can at least expect $15M and $8M, that’s already $13M. For a player coming off a bad season, that’s older than Kenny Golladay, it’s a big gamble. In this simulation we probably need to overpay for free agents.

Steelers are shopping Diontae Johnson - WR, asking for a second or a player exchange for Adoree Jackson.

Do we have any interest in this player?

His base salary is 8 million.

Sorry? Im not understanding the proposal

Is it Johnson for a 2nd or Adoree? We can’t trade Adoree, but I’ll trade both our 3rds for Diontae
