That was disappointing at the end. Not the disaster I was afraid it might be, but still disappointing.

Waller had butterfingers tonight and let Jones down multiple times. Jalin Hyatt was barely used. There were some screw-ups on defense too, but you're not going to win when you can't sustain drives and let one of the league's top offenses dominate the ToP.

Hope the team gets fully rested and comes out ready for Seattle.

Thoughts on another disaster of a game..

Welp this was one i knew we wouldn't win. But this game also seemed to validate alot of things about us. We are just a mediocre group. Thats what we are. We do well against the lower echelon teams, but we just are not ready to go at it with the big boys. Teams like Dallas, Philly, SF, Buffalo, KC.. We are lights years away. The amount of problems we got going on on both sides of the ball with this team right now is just downright awful. You WILL NOT win games when you make 3rd down seem like an automatic first down for starters. At one point in that game last night SF was 8/10 on 3rd down .. thats not a misprint. 80% ???? ... Pathetic. Barely any pressure generated by the dline at all. Which continues to be an ongoing issue. And no, Thibs sack was NOT a pressure generated sack at all. Its yet again another coverage sack where he's there to do mop up duty. Its as if the entire defensive line we saw last year has regressed. We are making every RB we play look like Barry Sanders. The run defense is just terrible. The amount of runs on us that were 5yds or more was unreal. Im beginning to wonder the type of defense Wink is trying to run just doesnt work anymore in this modern NFL. The lone bright spots were Micah McFadden and after that maybe some defensive coverage by Banks and Hawkins. The refs had it in for us last night which didnt help either. That fat f--k Trent Williams is still the NFL's biggest POS and should've been ejected the minute he punched A'Shawn. And then those calls on Leo for that tackle on Purdy? The holding call on Thibs??? F-in joke.

This offense just cannot get out of its own way. How many more years do we have to wait for a decent oline ?? This is just insane. Everything begins with the big guys up front.  Other teams draft olinemen and they groom them to be starters / good backups.. We just seem to find busts or nothing short of practice squad talent. JMS was without question our best player on the line last night. We have something in him .. but after that??? What in the hell is wrong with Evan Neal??? Im just about done with him.  The guard play im not even going near.

Our WRs, TEs just couldnt get anything going. Ppl complaining on twitter about Jalin Hyatt not being used. With how little time DJ had last night how is he supposed to get the ball to him?? And DJ isnt off the hook here either. He did not play well last night.  Overhthrowing Waller when he was wide open, balls being throw into coverage where the players gets hit and its a bang bang interception. This game was just bad plain and simple. We are just not a decent team. We get injured too much and we just dont seem to know how to fix these on going issues with the oline or having a non existent pass rush.
