Louis Friend
I’m hoping for a win but have expected a loss this week since the schedule came out. We struggle against running QBs and it’s a road game while banged up.
Superduperman
All they have to do is what they did against Fields last year. Make sure that whenever Jackson leaves the pocket, you get a hit on him, even if it's ten yards downfield, and by the second half maybe you can wear him down

I think this was Kayode Awosika's first start and he played a good part of the day dealing with Vita Vea. Vita Vea can ruin just about anyone's day. The fact that he had to make his first start in that situation was about as tough as it gets. It was probably one heck of a learning experience. I think he played his college at Buffalo and apparently was pretty good at that level. He seems like one of those players that becomes a serviceable starter after developing for a year or two. I don't think Dan Skipper would have been better.

Still, playing against the Bucs seems like a pretty good primer for playing against the Ravens. Their DE/NT/DE are pretty pretty good. Their LBs are very good. There seem to be a lot of similarities. He never started in Philly.

My point is, having a rough game against Vita Vea as well as with the Bucs D-Line playing the way it was playing doesn't mean he is a scrub.

Never even said he played poorly. The only thing I said is that there is a possibility he starts in place of Jonah again this week.

Just Want A Title
Uh, this wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement: https://forums.footballsfuture.com/topic/50887-game-7-detroit-lions-5-1-baltimore-ravens-4-2/?do=findComment&comment=5387221

Just Want A Title
For a more objective evaluation see the link below. One interesting comment: Asking him to cut block against a quick D-Lineman like Kalijah Cancey is setting him up to fail. Part of this could be on the coaches. https://lionswire.usatoday.com/2023/10/17/lions-film-review-grading-kayode-awosika-buccaneers/

I was aware not endorsing someone means you called them Scrub. That's my major issue all the time. Any sorta negative few gets turned into you saying something totally different than what you actually said. Not endorsing does not equal calling them a scrub. wish I could like this post 1000 times Edited October 17, 2023 by detfan782004
detfan782004
We could also really just post any post game thoughts in the game thread. Makes little sense to me to have so many threads when they literally can be said in same thread of game. in past post game threads were locked (years ago) for sake of having a cleaner forum
