Halftime!!

Half way through the season. So where are the Lions? What is working? What needs to be addressed? Let’s discuss.

Lions are 6-2 at the BYE. Sit atop the NFCN. Second, begin the Eagles, in the NFC. Top ten in total offense & defense. Should be getting some guys (Montgomery, Jonah, Houston) back healthy after the BYE.

My views might be a little off the wall but:

MVP:  Graham Glasgow

OPOY:  Amon Ra St Brown

DPOY:  Aidan Hutchinson

ROY:  Sam LaPorta

Favorite Game:  Week 1 victory over the Chiefs in Kansas City

Favorite Play:  Reverse Flea Flicker TD pass to Sam Laporta

Game most likely to win:  Home game against the Broncos

Game Most Likely to lose:  Road Game against the Cowboys

Final Record Prediction:  12-5

Player most likely to step up:  Jameson Williams

This is tough so I will give my top 3 at each.

1st half poll-

MVP: Jared Goff, ARSB, Laporta

OPOY: ARSB, Laporta, Monty

DPOY: Anzalone, Hutch, McNeil

ROY: Laporta, Branch, Gibbs

favorite game: Week 1, got the kool aid flowing

favorite play: Branch week 1 pick 6.

2nd half poll-

game you are looking forward to the most: Thanksgiving, might have a happy day for the first time in a while.  Next is not certain but whatever game we have a chance to clinch the division/playoff spot.

what will the division record be: 5-1

game most likely to win: Bears at home

game most likely to lose: at Dallas

final Lions record: 13-4

player most likely to step up down the stretch:  Houston, I think he gives us that other edge rusher when we start utilizing him more similarly to last year and our D takes a step forward.  The other option is Gibbs.  I think his big play ability is going to be tapped into, even after Monty returns.
