AngusMcFife Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 According to analytics, Harbaugh's decision to kick the FG to go up 6 was incorrect. I agree, it was a very passive decision. You just gain solid yardage up and down the field and get to 4th and 1. Take the game over. It makes the decision to not allow Lamar pass on that sequence even stranger. Kyle Hamilton is the best safety in the league. Keaton Mitchell continues to impress in all phases of the game. The WR's made some really nice plays tonight, and overall Isaiah Likely also looked good. Zay Flowers continues to be a stud The bad: The 2nd half offense just looked pathetic trying to pass the ball. Marcus Williams is useless and a liability on the field. We need to get him out of there, but probably can't until Hamilton can go back to playing safety again. Ronnie Stanley should be cut this offseason. He's so bad. Harbaugh's decision making (not challenging 2 CLEAR first downs, then challenging a CLEAR backwards pass, and the 4th down FG decision) is atrocious and continues to hold this team back. Todd Monken just turned in an absolute turd of a game in terms of play calling. That was painful to watch against a defense that is like bottom 5 in the league??? A win is a win, but good lord this team is so heavily flawed at times. This offense just cannot get out of their own way, and ultimately if they can't figure out a way to get themselves out of a rut when things aren't going their way we're not going far in the playoffs.
