Still would be nice for them to close a game out like they did against the Jags/Steelers earlier in the year. They have let opponents (Bengals, Cardinals, Broncos) hang around too long and it’ll catch up to them eventually.

To echo this - the Jets are a mess right now. Every red flag is up in the air that Robert Saleh has lost his locker room and is probably a few weeks away from getting fired (he might get fired if he loses this one). Aaron Rodgers on Pat McAfee and the general tendencies of the NY sports media scene paint a photo of a team that's in disarray, a HC who genuinely hates his current QB along with a roster (that was brought in for Rodgers) all getting ready for the season to end.

If ever there was a time for the Texans to go for the jugular and absolutely kill an opponent from start to finish, it's now.

It’s not very often that you play a 4-8 team that is so dominant on one side of the ball. The Jets offense is a hot mess but their defense is incredible.

they haven’t allowed a 300 yard passers in 30 games. They have a CB that can eliminate Nico from even being apart of the game plan. The slight ripple in the armor is the run defense which we can’t take advantage of. Their defensive coaches will coach circles around Slowick and potentially force Stroud into his worst game yet.

but with all that, if we can get to 17 points, we most likely win. We need the D to get some turnovers and we need the offense to kick lots of field goals. This will be the only game we ever play where I’ll be happy with a FG.

The jets have only scored over 14 4 times this season and the last time they did was week 6 on October 15th. Meanwhile our offense has hit a lull since the bye week, with the exception of the Bucs game, we’ve been averaging about 20 a game since the bye week.

I really doubt we break the slump this week against the jets but I’ll say we kick 4 FGs and figure out a way to score a TD….meanwhile we give them 2 FGs and a TD

Texans: 19
Jets: 13
