Mitchell lavine or Murray has to be next for Knicks. Only way this makes any sense.

Do you have a prediction of what kind of package it would take to get one of these guys? Murray as in Jamal Murray?

::EDIT:: I just realized it is Dejounte Murray. Well, the first question stands lol

So the Knicks will probably be a better team, but it has more to do with not giving Barrett 35 minutes a game. Extremely disappointed that they're punting Quickley, whom I believe will breakout as a star, for an expiring role player. OG is a final piece for a team that's ready to compete NOW, not the Knicks.

If Dejounte is a poor fit with Trae, he's not going to fit any better with Brunson. And we could less afford mediocre shooting from Dejounte than ATL did when they traded for him.

I just don't get why you sit on these assets for so long just for what, a marginal at best upgrade and essentially a lateral move given you're losing 15 points off your bench now?

The goal should be making moves to actually win. I don't get it.

The Knicks still have their first round picks to make another move. It may not be for a superstar but can be another very good player.

Thibs refusal to ever change just cost this team a real player because he just wants Luol Deng again.

That's nice. That's not winning anything. They're clearly not building the roster around Brunson as the superstar, so they clearly are not actually trying to win a title. In which case why did they even ******* bother stockpiling anything.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Murray/Brunson backcourt. Too small, too redundant. If the Knicks go for one of those guys that was mentioned in my quote, it should be Lavine.

Let's be honest, our treadmill fate was sealed when RJ and Obi busted and our FO traded a billion picks to cap dump Kemba Walker. We're not winning with a Brunson/Randle core.

The Brunson is too little stuff is annoying but maybe the team should have idk added size around him rather than a 3&D wing who does **** all else. Like at least TRY and make a real move, even if it fails, at least you swung for it.
