2024 offseason, a lot of work to do.

Recommended Posts

The benefit of this off-season is the offense is pretty set.

id resign swift to a reasonable contract. I don’t think he’ll get a ton of offers.

but other than him I’d prefer any offensive additions be through the draft

on defense is where I’d like the eagles really to spend money. I think the eagles need to go big at safety, at least one lol.

im happy with ringo and ricks competing on the outside.

Since fangio doesn’t play young guys I’d like to sign quite a few guys at LB and safety.

Gainwell was just average, and McPhearson is poop water.

Gainwell gets 4+ per carry and would amount to more as a receiver if they threw to the backs more.
Look, he's not going to be a star, but he's not going to be paid like one, either.
You need a certain level of competence in your depth and he has that.

As for MacPhearson, his biggest downside is injuries.
I just don't know if he can play.
He's worth a look-see.
I just don't know if he has Maddox Syndrome, too.

So did Miles Sanders behind our OL. Do you think Miles is good?

The biggest downside for Zech is the fact he's basically an auto-completion when you throw at him.

Sanders was an RB1 and to be paid as such.
For an RB2, Gainwell is fine and to be paid as such.

I believe what MacPhearson can or can't do remains to be seen.
He's taken too few snaps at CB to tell.
He has, however, led the Eagles over two seasons in ST snaps.
He at least provides value there while you find out.
And again, no one is going to pay him handsomely.
He's worth more to ink for another season.

Darius Robinson gives me the same vibes as Tyree Wilson. Wanted to really like him, but I'm just not really seeing it. I'd take Trice over him for sure.

The thing to like about Robinson is his size.
He's coming into the league 20 lbs. heavier than Wilson or Trice.
He played inside and moved outside.
He could become a true edge-setting LDE and move inside on passing downs.

That being said, there are similarguys like Brandon Dorlus, Kris Jenkins and Jusitn Eboigbe who could possibly be had later.

How about a draft that goes like this:

Jackson Powers-Johnson - Oregon - IOL
Brandon Dorlus - Oregon - DE
Ja'Lynn Polk - Washington - WR
Kyhree Jackson - Oregon - CB
Dillon Johnson - Washington - RB
Edefuan Ulofoshio - Washington - LB
Zion Tupuola-Fetui - Washington - Edge
Roger Rosengarten - Washington - OT
Evan Williams - Oregon - S
Jamal Hill - Oregon - DB

All Oregon and Washington and no one anyone stayed up to watch.
