Maybe in the right scheme or specifically as a line of scrummage safety/backer he is worth it but even in that role Peppers was better. I forgot about Barmore. He's legit. Yup, Peppers showed up last season. Who knows if that continues or not, but I believe he was the best run defending safety in the league last year. Dugger’s probably a little better taking the ball away in the back end. They’re similar players, but Peppers for sure outplayed him in 2023. I think Dugger’s a good player, though. I would work on a contract with Dugger like they have and it wont be what he wants so I would let him walk and take the comp pick in 2025. Now they don’t get one.
