Well they did trade up for him!
broncos_fan _from _uk
4.102: Troy Franklin WR, Oregon (I have him and Sedric Van Pran-Granger neck and neck as BPA but think our WR room is in worse shape than our IOL room)

broncosfan_101
If we’re going with the trade up: 4.102 Jaylen Wright 5.145 Kris Abrams-Draine 5.147 Jeremiah Trotter Jr. But because I already had Franklin, I wouldn’t have traded up. 4.121 Cade Stover 5.136 Kris Abrams-Draine 5.145 Jeremiah Trotter Jr. 5.147 Mohammed Kamara

7DnBrnc53
Starting from the beginning: 1-12: Byron Murphy, DL, Texas. Can play 3-4 DE opposite Zach Allen and help upgrade a line that needs a lot of help. 3-76: Matt Goncalves, OL, Pitt. You have a developmental OL that may be able to replace McGlinchey in a year. 4-102: Spencer Rattler, QB, Oklahoma. You get your developmental QB, and you sit him for a year. 5-145: Brennan Jackson, EDGE, Wash. State. Good quality, and a bigger player than Elliss or Nik Bonitto. 5-147: Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M. Provides a weapon from the slot. In the seventh round, I would have taken S/LB James Williams from the U to see what you have there, and how he may fit. I am happy with the center they took, though. Maybe their best pick of the day. As for the trade for Myers (from NYJ), he has played in a 3-4, but I don't think this is the best fit because he didn't start shining until he went to a 4-3 system.
