Look what happened with Starling Thomas V and Trevor Nowaske.  This guy has way more upside.  I don't think the Lions are going to risk anyone getting him from the PS.

Third round picks rarely end up on the PS.  Just like Martin last year, he will be on the roster but play sparingly if at all.

Absolute monster, love it already. Just hoping he wont be hurt a lot.

It looks like he is going against high school kids.  Lol.  It probably is the equivalent of that or worse but some of those ends look like they are 150 lbs.

I thought his footwork was pedestrian.

You can't coach size and that's about all he has right now

Really?  Do you ever see his feet stop?  Do you notice his steps are measured and consistent?  Also, his foot placement allows him to gain leverage quickly.  Size helps but understanding how to use leverage matters no matter how big a person might be.

Just because they don't stop doesn't equal good footwork.

His lateral movement to me was pedestrian.

He can be coached up but im

not a fan as of today

Not for where he was taken

This is kind of my take. If we drafted him with our 5th or 6ths, it would be fine.  Giving up a future 3rd for him is risky.  He is a huge boom or bust candidate.  Again I have to trust Holmes assessments but for this to be the third player we drafted is wild.

Similarly drafting a S next to play RB is also wild.
