Wow!

I just watched Jayden Daniels/LSU cut up highlights, with every play with the ball in his hand for the 23' season. (Good or bad plays)

I now see why he was the #2 overall pick. (I don't watch much college ball anymore)

He's very fluid in his motions, whether passing or running.

He doesn't panic, when things break down, pocket collapses, or waiting for someone to get open.

His long ball accuracy, might be the best I've ever seen as a rookie.

His arm strength is good, but not great. It should be good enough. Specially, in an RPO offense.

And let me tell you something. This dude is fast. Very fluid, quick, shifty.

Very curious what his 40 time is. Don't believe he ran one, at the combine.

But he leaves people behind. That's for sure.

He puts himself in dangerous situations when running, however. Man, did I see him get lit up. Wow!

He's going to need to eliminate that, or he's going to be destroyed by NFL Defenses.

Having said that...?

If he's starter week 1 & stays healthy for 17 games.

With the players Washington has?

Washington is winning 10 games minimum.

His talent level is ridiculous.

I think Washington can win the Division, THIS YEAR!

He just needs to protect himself, from himself.

NFC East is gonna be interesting.

Sounds like Washington finally found their franchise QB.

Well okay, they found him a decade ago but we all know how that played out.

It was me...

I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances, but I believe Washington is being extremely overlooked.

New ownership(Harris, Magic Johnson & crew, New Head Coach(Dan Quinn-Falcons) with a SB appearance & had that Cowboys Defense very good. (Which they will not have again)

New Offensive Coordinator in Cliff Kingsbury with very unique scheme & former head coach.(Arizona)

QB-rookie Jayden Daniels(LSU), #2 overall pick.

Had an excellent draft! Had an excellent Free Agency!

Depending on QB play from our rookie, which we simply just don't know yet?

If he's a superstar, or has a season like C.J Stroud had? (Which I believe Washington is more talented than the Houston Texans)

There's no reason to believe, they can't win the NFC East Division this year

Jayden Daniels is more likely to suck then be CJ Stroud.

There's a lot of smoke right now, that BA(49ers) is getting traded to Washington.

Shefty already mentioned that "Washington" has already turned down a trade deal. Not San Fran, but Washington.

I personally believe Adam Peters is negotiating a trade with them, that doesn't cost a 1st Rd pick & a new contract to get a deal done.

The longer Peters/Washington wait this out? The price comes down.

What was OT Trent Williams traded for to the 49ers? (All-Pro Hofer) A few years back?

A 3rd & a 5th?

Just saying...and if BA is actually wanting to play with Jayden Daniels? Well, something might be brewing....just saying....

The 9ers might trade Deebo, Aiyuk ain't going anywhere.

Definitely not without getting a FRP in return LOL

Who knows how RG3's career would have been like, had he not tore his knee. But injuries happen & are part of the game. But he did win rookie of the year.

Which is my biggest concern for Jayden Daniels.

(I know your not talking about Cousins, who was in the same draft. Most overrated, anti-clutch QB I've ever witnessed) Besides his "You like that" moment. Cousins is what I call a stat compiler. Great numbers, but will never win you a SB. Cousins is basically Jeff George incarnate)

Washington wins the Division in a landslide.

6,000 yd , 60 TD Passer

2,000 yd , 24TD WR

2,000 yd , 29 TD RB

#1 Defense in the NFL

Single season Sack record

Single season TO record

How could they not, right Ace?

@aceinthehouse

Okay but what about the stats for the full season?

Kirk Cousins is currently a top 10 QB and has been for probably about 4 years now.

And in 12 NFL seasons, has 1 playoff victory.

1-3 overall.

I will mention...Cousins had a good season in 23'. Had (8) 4th QTR comebacks & led the Vikings to a 13-4 record.

His previous 11 seasons? He had (14) 4th QTR comebacks.

Marcus Mariota is our backup QB.  He has played 9 seasons so far. He has (11) 4th QTR comebacks. He's 1-1 in the Playoffs as well.

My point?

Cousins had a good year, because that Vikings team is/was absolutely LOADED in talent. Probably should have made the SB.

Now he's on the Falcons & they aren't near the talent, Minnesota is/was.

He will never have a season, like he did last yr in 23'.  Because he can't put a team on his back when necessary to win. At least consistently.

But his stats will probably be good. Like Jeff George.

But I do agree with you on 1 thing.

Statistically?

Yes, Cousins will probably be in the top 10. Because he's a stat complier. But he's not a winner. Much like Jeff George.

The same Kirk Cousins you said would pass for 5000 yards? Oh how fickle of you Ace!

Yep!

Of course, that prediction came before I knew he was going to kneel the ball just before half at the goal line of the opponents, with about 45 seconds still left on the clock.
