Mazrimiv
Has anyone let Pierce know that removing the "interim" from his HC job title was a business decision? Edited Monday at 11:05 AM by Mazrimiv
Old Guy
The coaching change last year for the Raiders was a good move. Pierce gave the game a needed boost with his macho bravado. The problem is that **** wears thin pretty quickly. Not to mention their best option at quarterback is Gardner Minshew.
Mazrimiv
Having Minshew at QB is definitely part of the problem. The Raiders probably need to bottom out before a decent coach will be interested in rebuilding them. Most bad teams need to find a rising star at one of the coordinator positions, and I don't think the Raiders have one. Mazrimiv
MIN, PIT and SEA all sitting at 3-0. Sure didn't see that coming. Only other team at 3-0 is KC, with BUF possibly joining them after tonight. With the CAR and DEN wins, TEN at 0-3 is starting to look like the worst team in the league, and they don't have a steady QB to fall back to the way CAR did. What a wild start this has been to the season. The survivor league I play in has 21 people. Only 2 remained after week 2. In week 3, they both picked TAM. Do they split the money or do they keep going? If they split it, you have time to run do it again. Mazrimiv
I think they split it, but I never play the survivor re-do round(s) after the first batch is over. Once I'm out for the year, I'm out.

Tough loss to PHI today, but I think NO is looking better than ATL so far. CJ summed up my thoughts on NO pretty well.
Brit Pack
Why isn't Kelce lighting it up anymore? Does Mahomes have an issue with him? Has Kelce checked out of football and into showbiz life? Or is it that Kelce is always covered?
Mazrimiv
Kelce is a 34, and will be 35 two weeks from now. He's hitting the wall after a dozen years in the league. Happens to the best of them.

Also, when your life outside of football becomes too consuming it is bound to affect your performance on the field. It is one of the factors in trying to 3-peat. Players get so many opportunities outside of football that is becomes a distraction.

Mahomes coming out today with BS that teams are double-covering Kelce and that is why he is not getting the ball. I mean these guys have been connecting for the past 6 years to the tune of virtually over 1000 yards each season and only now teams figuring out how to cover Kelce!!!
