I understand he's not replaceable at his level. Speaking his spot. They need someone halfway decent and not some scrub because they are being cheap

Sounds like you're just setting yourself up to complain more. if they get one of the two or three guys you think aren't scrubs, they paid too much. if they get someone who isn't as expensive, that guy is a scrub.

You're not arguing from a sincere place.

I don't think they will have paid too much if they go after Crosby. Just won't.

if they can land any 2 of those 3 above I would be fine as well.

Two little points from Campbell's comments today:

"Mac and Levi and (DJ) Reader and Paschal and that group... Ukwu, we’ve got Muhammad on practice squad, (Mitchell) Agude, Houston’s still here." Ouch.

"If we get somebody, great. If we don't, these are our guys and the coaches know that." They are going to make a move. It might be a Holmes typical Tim Patrick-style move for someone we wouldn't think of at a lower cost, though

I'm not worried about those comments at all and I agree with your second point. Campbell isn't the GM and doesn't make the moves. He's the coach and works with the players in front of him. It makes good sense for him to plan as if we aren't going to make a move. He's only worried about players on his roster.

Za'Darius Smith was traded to Clevelenad with a 6th and 7th for two 5ths.  Assuming he is cheaper than that now that he is older, I would say two 6ths for two 7ths should be the cost.  I would do that in a heartbeat.  Ojulari is an expiring that has never been a great player.  he has got some sacks but he is really just James Houston IMO.  I think adding him would be fine but he is an undersized edge/OLB type more than a true DE.  Pasrt of Hutch's value is playing the run and pushing HB's into the other defenders and Ojulari is not a run defender at all.
