Ok I googled angry mob gif, you apparently are old enough to remember the movie.

For as much grief as I give Doc about using old references, not knowing "Young Frankenstein" is a travesty. I would say it's either between YF and Blazing Saddles as the best Mel Brooks comedy (while funny, I don't think History of the World Part 1 matches up with either of those two).

Jerick McKinnon and Alex Boone would be a nice pair of tier two pickups.

EDIT: Original source was https://www.hogshaven.com/2018/3/7/17066524/the-5-oclock-club where they have a series of polls on the various possibilities there (minus QB for obvious reasons). The general consensus (based on a 4.0 GPA scale looks like this):

Players Position A votes B votes C votes D votes F votes Total Grade
Nickell Robey-Coleman CB 53 77 88 49 18 285 2.344
Alex Boone OG 31 107 106 51 10 305 2.321
Jerick McKinnon RB 39 109 137 58 27 370 2.203
Jordan Matthews WR 21 115 125 61 21 343 2.157
John Sullivan OC 27 95 89 66 26 303 2.102
Bradley McDougald S 18 64 100 65 14 261 2.027
Dominique Easley DL 13 68 94 56 22 253 1.976
Tyler Eifert TE 31 86 77 76 56 326 1.877
Alex Okafor OLB 12 55 84 74 20 245 1.857
Andre Smith OT 5 58 116 84 40 303 1.683
Karlos Dansby ILB 10 46 61 82 55 254 1.504

So, Robey-Coleman, Boone, McKinnon, and Matthews (just barely) are thought of as C+ pickups; Sullivan, McDougald, and Easley fall in a solid C range; Eifert and Okafor are low C options, but not yet C-; and Smith and Dansby are down in the C- range (Dansby just misses D+).

My Dad "made" me watch YF when I was younger, and I always giggled at the name change

  1. Young Frankenstein (and Blazing Saddles) are still classics that everyone should watch. Add Airplane and Blues Brothers to that list as well.
  2. If we're limiting ourselves to ones that were out when you were alive (a travesty), then I would say Spaceballs over Men In Tights.

Airplane is ok.  I've seen Blues Brothers probably 100 times.

Airplane is more than just "ok."

This one is just a throwaway but still good:
