  1. It’s funny with a lot of the Cardinals picks. The main criticism on some of them is always like “I really like this player, but it’s earlier than I would have drafted them” especially with regards to Robinson, Melton and Reiman. It’s just an interesting area to be in.
  2. The reports were that the Cardinals had Melton over Dejean and Kool Aid, hence the trade down. I loved our class though. I think we’re going to surprise a lot of people this year
  3. Just the sheer quantity of picks is what has be excited about the Cardinals. Even though there were some reaches in the bunch, the whole of it all feels great. I give us a B+ 1: Marvin Harrison Jr: A++ no comments on the matter 1: Darius Robinson: B I thought this was a tad bit of a reach but I like the player a lot so I wasn’t mad. Versatile and disruptive, feels like a perfect fit for JG 2: Max Melton: B More or less the same as the Darius Robinson pick. I like the player a lot but thought it was a tad early for him. I had him over Lassiter who went the pick before, and wasn’t in love with Dejean or Kool Aid. 3: Trey Benson: A My favorite running back in the class and we pick him up about where I thought he would go. He sits a year behind Conner and then takes over. Good situation for him and a great player 3: Isaiah Adams: C+ This is a “I don’t know a ton about him” pick but he has some glowing reviews. I just thought there were some better options on the board at the time but I certainly see the upside 3: Tip Reiman: D+ Athlete pick, feels very boom or bust type. It sounds like we’re going to try and make him a Jusczyk type. I honestly don’t hate the pick but it feels early to me. 3: Elijah Jones: B I’d seen a little about him in the build up to the draft and this is about where I’d seen him mocked. 4: Dadrian Taylor-Demerson: A+ Loved this pick. Think he’s a great athlete, total ballhawk. Gets to sit behind Budda a year and ideally take over for him next year 5: Xavier Thomas: B+ Just feels like a great flyer at this spot to me. Great motor guy, feel like he can at least play teams for a while at the next level 5: Christian Jones: A I think if you flip this pick and the Tip pick, this draft would look more right. Loved this pick, outstanding value 6: Tejhaun Palmer: B Fast af type of guy. I wanted Rice at this pick 7: Jaden Davis: B, Solid flyer take at this point
  4. My b guys The Arizona Cardinals select 0131 Javon Solomon Edge Troy
  5. I’ve had my eyes set on Braelon Allen for a while. I think he sets up perfectly to redshirt behind James Conner for a year, then step in next year as a duo with Michael Carter. Allen is the same kind of runner as Conner and I’ve felt it’s a great fit
  6. The Arizona Cardinals select RB 0351 Braelon Allen Wisconsin @MKnight82
  7. Likely not from what reports are saying. Howie Roseman does not want to deal with Monti Ossenfort after the Jonathan Gannon tampering last year
  8. Reddick returns to AZ to play for the coach he had his most productive season under. With him, Murphy and Robinson, our front seven gets a complete makeover (along with the real world additions of Justin Jones, Bilal Nichols and Khyiris Tonga). It should catapult the worst front seven in the NFL, to at least an average one. Combine that with the offense, that adds MHJ and was very productive at the end of last year, and we should be well on our way to a massive improvement.
  9. At 90 The Arizona Cardinals select 0460 Brendan Rice - WR USC @Packerraymond
  10. Oh me too, I’m more just talking the OL prospects as a whole. Very strong tackle class this year but there isn’t one guard that I’m wowed or blown away by. Drafting Fisher here we’d be hoping he either pushes Jonah Williams inside or develops behind him for a year or two
  11. He was one of three guys I was looking at with my last pick, felt easy to go with him there. I like his potential way more than most of this year’s guards.
  12. Cardinals select 0281 Blake Fisher OL Notre Dame @JetsandI
  13. I had tossed in here that I’d be looking to trade down, no one reached out. I think could see him sneaking into the end of day 2, but I see him being early day 3. I was hoping there’s be an OL fall but no tackles did, and all those guards don’t intrigue me this early. I like some of the DL on the board but with having drafted Byron Murphy and Darius Robinson, feels like it would have been overkill at DL. Thought the same thing with receiver at that spot. So it was reach for a corner or OL was the the move
