Willing to take a cap dump?

It's definitely not for everyone but the fact it's basically a mess of what the team behind it wanted to make and just threw literally everything at the wall to see what sticks is pretty cool. I think the story behind it is more interesting than anything else tbh.

Been watching the new FLCL and Dorei-ku the animation both are solid shows but definitely lack anything great about them.

Given that Disney invested 8+ billion in Star Wars theme parks they're not selling off the franchise. Plus they make more than enough from toy sales to off-set any lost money from the films.

It's a good show but you need to be prepared for teen drama, typical CW stuff and some questionable logic. But it truly is a very good sci-fi show that explores a fascinating world.

That's exactly what death note is more or less only Light and L are the focus of the show while they battle over the morality of it not exactly the same but close enough, plus they're both done by Madhouse. But your recommendation of Code Geass probably works a lot better coming off of Deathnote.

Death Parade as a spiritual and thematic successor to death note is pretty close (12 episodes) If you want something more recent, B: The Beginning is a pretty solid show.
