  1. @Mid Iowa they lack the clutch factor. Also sorry but you are going to end up 1-1 as my Buckeyes are going to destroy your Hawkeyes.
  2. Damn that was a game where we just shot ourselves in the foot every way possible. Add on additional injuries to the team, it's going to be a rough few weeks. That being said, it was also a great game and there is a lot of positives that the team can take away from it and look to build upon for the future. A few examples are Chase Young playing great, Bresee is putting in good work as well, our OL didn't play great but they were still solid which is definitely better than what we hoped going into the season and with McCoy going down last week. So sucks for a loss but I'm still happy with the team.
  3. That's it, we suck again, fire everyone, trade everyone, go for a full rebuild.
  4. So definitely a TE then. Also didn't Sam LaPorta come in last year and was a top 5 TE in the NFL almost immediately?
  5. I mean is Brock even actually blocking close to the line like TEs or is he mostly just playing WR but listed as a TE as I'll be honest I haven't watched the Raiders yet this season. This also isn't a dig at Bowers, I would've been happy if he fell another spot to the Saints and drafted by them as he's obviously a great talent, but I really wanted them to take an OT and not be tempted by Bowers so I was happy the Raiders took him as well.
  6. pretty sure the point was that Brees had multiple MVP caliber seasons only to be beat out by other QBs that had slightly better seasons. These are seasons that would've been MVP seasons most years. It's not the normal number 2 in MVP voting that had a good season but you can find plenty of other similar seasons by other players. Just looking at last years MVP season by Lamar Jackson, Brees had multiple years that blew that out of the water in both production and similar/better team records, but lost out to Brady/Manning/Rodgers.
  7. Well a ring is definitely possible and I think at the very least Kamara will end up in the HOF. Ramzy would've made it if not for the knee injury keeping him down the past few years. Lattimore's injuries will also likely keep him from being considered. Also is a ring just for the drafting team or even if they move on? Cuz Anzalone, Hendrickson, and Williams all have chances of making/winning a Super Bowl with the Lions, Bengals, and Ravens before their careers are over.
  8. At least for this season, I think you have Derek Carr a little low
  9. I think the biggest thing is that DA has the defense on lock, which everyone agreed with but his lack of getting the offense in order was wanting him fired. Now that Klint has the offense under control, I think the DA firing talk is gone, but if Klint leaves I'm 100% behind firing DA if another competent person isn't hired to run the offense. Personally I think if Klint is looking at HC jobs, just renegotiate his contract and pay him HC money. He's obviously a great coordinator/playcaller and the main reason to move to a HC position is the extra money and full control of a team. He'd probably still hire a DC to run the defensive side of the ball while he took care of the offensive side of the ball, so the only difference is pay. So I'm leaving a thought on what the Saints should do prior to the season even ends.
  10. I mean last time the Saints did this, they won the SB. Not saying it's going to happen again, but let's dream until it crumbles.
  11. Nope, Russel was bad and just didn't want to play football, not to mention the ridiculous contract he got that might've been more of a hindrance than the picks that the Panthers gave up. Also Young will likely still get another chance with a new team where he'll probably do better.
  12. Bad defenses don't make you one of the most efficient passers of all time. I think the "stat padder" argument is a little overblown because even if he had bad defenses that caused him to throw more, that doesn't take away from him doing it efficiently while single handedly keeping the Saints from picking #1 overall due to how bad their defenses were.
  13. I remember hearing some mixed comments from Lions fans for Anzalone, but yeah I thought he had a chance to be a stud too if he was healthy, I mean he was really good when he was, he just never was, same with Hendrickson for 90% of his time with the Saints.
