lol please..how on earth did Mahomes single handedly lose that game against Rams?

5 turnovers, 2 that went immediately for TDs, and another 2 picks on the final 2 drives.  Sure his 6 TDs kept them in it, but his turnovers are what gave the game to the Rams.

.....yeah regardless of any other mistakes, I don't think you can have 6 TDs and single handedly lose a game for your team. that's 42 points that is automatically difficult for the other team to outscore regardless of takeaways.

You can and he did.  If he didn't have those 5 turnovers, of which 2 directly led to 14 points, and another 2 stopped drives at the end of the game when they were still within a FG of tying or taking the lead with a TD they could've/would've won that game.  Specifically if you remove those 14 points from the Rams scoreboard, pretty sure the Chiefs win by 11...

You talk about what would have happened if he didn't have 5 turnovers and yet you still treat it as though he had 6 touchdowns. It makes absolutely no sense. You claim if not for Mahome's turnovers the Chiefs win by 11, and so he single handedly lost his team the game, but the Chiefs obviously wouldn't have the points required to win by 11 without Mahome's 6 touchdowns. If you lead your offense to 51 points, the blame undoubtedly doesn't only fall on you, regardless of a bunch of turnovers.

His defense did enough to win them the game if not for the turnovers that went for TDs.

That's insane. How can you praise a defense that allowed 40 points that game? The only reason they would have "done enough to win" the game is because of Mahome's offensive production.

That's insane. How can you praise a defense that allowed 37 points that game? The only reason they would have "done enough to win" the game is because of Mahome's offensive production.

There was no praise for their defense, simply that they did enough to win.  No one would praise Oklahoma's defense, but they always do enough to win.  If Kyler Murray has 5 turnovers would he not be blamed for the team loss?  They know they have a bad defense and need to outscore their opponents, so if someone turns the ball over, especially when it directly leads to points, you can point to that as the cause of the loss.

He was the only reason that game wasn’t 55/0

Well if you removed him then it was at most going to be 41-0, but let's not act like his receivers didn't make plays as well.  If Brees had that same type of performance I'd say Brees lost the Saints the game as well, it's that simple.  I might explain some of the interceptions were due to him trying to do too much due to the horrid defense, which would be a fair explanation, but having that many turnovers and them being turned into 14 realized points, that's always going to be on the QB if/when they lose.  I mean if instead of Mahomes it was Hunt who lost 5 fumbles with 2 being turned into TDs, I would've blamed him even if he had 350 all purpose yards and 6 TDs because the fumbles directly led to the loss.

Ok, but what you are describing simply does not even remotely fit the description: "single handedly lost the game."

I don't remember anyone else on the offense giving away points.

I can agree with you.

But Drew Brees having his worst game in years and an interception at the end singlehandedly lost them that Cowboys game too. And thats a much worse loss.
