Idk if an assailant gets a second chance over a drug addict. Seems like Johnny Manziel had more opportunities than Ray Rice.

Seems like Johnny Manziel had more opportunities than Ray Rice. Neither Ray Rice (who wasn't even averaging 4.0 YPC at the time of his issues) nor Manziel were even above average starters. Kelly was Mr. Irrelevant who was viewed as a lottery ticket but couldn't even beat out Case Keenum or Kevin Hogan for the 1/2 on the Broncos depth chart. Hunt is a dual threat, bellcow RB who has already put up a great season last year and was on pace to beat those numbers this season. He was a legit 2,000 YFS back, a guy who already had 14 TDs on the season. Greg Hardy got another chance, and his DV was considerably worse (as were the circumstances behind his acquittal). Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill were both caught doing much worse coming out of college - Mixon was a 2nd rounder, Hill was a 5th round guy who will soon get paid as a top 5 WR. Unless you're looking at federal prison time like Aaron Hernandez, talent will always win out. Kareem Hunt is getting another chance, period. MSURacerDT55
Hunt goes to counseling, does community service, shows some contriteness, team takes initial PR hit by fake outraged fans/media, Hunt performs on the field, the outrage gets weaker and weaker until it gets drowned out by cheers.
