I thought Locke has looked terrible in practice and preseason?
Elky
Firing Elway is going to impossible due to PR. As mentioned before, he's gonna have to royally suck for a long time before he gets sacked.

Hall of fame game was brutal, Seattle I saw some growth, niners was just ok Then he hurt his thumb. I heard he's looked like a rookie this training camp with flashes in practice. He's a "pitcher that doesn't know how to pitch yet." I wouldn't be suprised if he showed ranges from a mobile Derrick Anderson, or a cross between Jay Cutler and Tony Romo eventually. I think he fits that system perfectly. I think Rookies like Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott when he was a rookie in the preseason mess up people's perception of what guys have to be day one.

It's hard to win without a franchise QB. I remember when Bronco fans were calling Mike Shanahan a genius. That wore off too.
