The New #1 seed

Mid Iowa

And just like that, the Saints are the new #1 seed in the NFC!

Thanks in part to the Ravens beating the 49ers, the Seahawks beating Minnesota, and the Saints beating the Seahawks earlier this season.

It's amazing how an early-season game can mean so much late in the season. And to win that game against the Seahawks with our backup quarterback is an outstanding measure of what this team is capable of!

Now we need to stave off the 49ers, and retain that number one seed. No room for error!

Must win game for the 49ers now. If we lose this game against you guys, the likelihood that we can win the division goes way down (Seattle would win the tiebreaker even if we beat them at the end of the season), barring Seattle somehow losing to Carolina or the Rams. So this just became a huge game for us as well.

Definitely a huge game for so many teams.

That #1 seed is such a huge advantage, especially when considering Seattle. Levi's stadium and The Superdome just don't compare. Close, but not the same. And who knows about the weather, too....

Not gonna lie, I don't feel good about our chances at all.  The last thing I wanted to do was play you guys after a loss.  If we show up mediocre like we have been most of the season, we're gonna get  blown out.
