Collins had 17 fumbles in three years at Arkansas. That's a ton. Didn't realize that until somebody mentioned it on Twitter. We should be wary of Alex having the ball in his hands.

Fumbling issues can be fixed, though. Adrian Peterson and Tiki Barber are two notable examples of that. But, you are right. Collins is certainly not on the level of those two, and when it comes to journeyman NFL backs who have fumbling issues, they generally don't last long.

One more fumble, and Collins is most likely in the doghouse, with good reason.

But boy did it look exciting the way he ran the ball, which is why I believe there is a clear cut reason he hasn't caught on anywhere else.

I wonder what his shuttle times were.  He looked explosive on Sunday (vs. his very pedestrian 40 time, which would speak to top end speed).

Getting a sack and an INT will do that
