Texansfan713
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/charlie-heck?id=32194845-4315-7579-cc7c-c4b25609c704 Overview Three-year starter with offensive line play in his bloodlines. He's a tall tackle with inevitable leverage and anchor concerns at times despite playing with bend. He carries an NFL-ready frame with long arms and loose hips for move blocks and recoveries. His range in pass sets is just average, so he needs to get on top of rushers with his length early in the rep to maintain feel and widen the arc when needed. Heck has the talent to handle swing tackle duties and should be fully functional in all run-blocking schemes.
Texans02
He looks like a fine prospect and value at the spot, but we just broke the bank on one tackle and drafted another in the 1st last year. Why put limited draft capital into a position that is already set? BOB logic.

Because hopefully he’s tired of trotting Chris Clark and Rodrick Johnson out as a swing tackle
Pastor Dillon
He ran a 5.1 at the combine which is good for his size but only put up 21 reps. I suspect he can become a swing tackle and Howard will become a tackle/ Swing guard. Heck it’s too big to move inside i think

I'd rather have a 4th rounder with potential over Chris Clark.
Texans02
Why? Why would you spend a 4th on a perpetual bench player that only comes in if injury strikes? Sorry, that is what teams with an overload of draft picks can do. Draft strapped teams don't draft speculative backups.

Well with us it’s not “if” injury strikes, it’s “when”
