RECRUITING BOARD - YEAR 5
Player Position Player Type State Star OFF DEF Height Weight National Rank Positional Rank Interest
Andy Palmer PG Passer Scorer NC *** B B+ 6'2" 178 175 31 Highest
Bobby Ware PG Passer Scorer NH *** C B- 6'5" 178 188 33 Highest
Andy Thurman PF Complete Post FL *** C B- 6'10" 226 193 41 Highest
Pete Mann SG Passer Scorer VA ** B+ B 6'1" 180 542 111 Highest
Travis Manson SF Passer Scorer ME ** D- A- 6'7" 213 833 202 Highest

Palmer, Ware and Thurman are all really good prospects.  Either Palmer or Ware should finally fix my PG problem.  At 6'10" Thurman can fill either spot down low.  I'll probably just target those 3 and save a scholarship for offseason recruiting.

SCHOOL OVERVIEW - YEAR 5
Team Prestige **
School Pride ****
Conference Titles 3
National Titles 0
Facilities
Weight Room 4
Practice Gym 0
Study Hall 1
Injuries Clinic 0
Fan Support
School Band 6

School pride went up again to 4, whatever that means.  I got weight room maxed out, and upgraded study hall by 1.  BTW, the Facilities do this:

Weight Room: Strength, Speed, Quickness (+1 for each upgrade)

Practice Gym: 3PT Ability, FG Ability, FT Ability, Ball Ability (+1 for each upgrade)

Study Hall: Off Ability, DEF Ability, Discipline (+1 for each upgrade)

Injuries Clinic: Hardiness, Fatigue (+1 for each upgrade)

Have never played the game but have been following your thread. Have you been focusing on OFF/DEF guys at all? Not sure if it makes a huge difference but it seems like a lot of the guys you have been targeting have been DEF heavy. I think Lowe has been the only really OFF heavy guy that you've targeted.

I've basically just been taking what I can get.  Even this year those are the only three 3 star players interested in my school.

That's fair haha. Any way you can look up Ryan Bassey from last recruiting cycle and see his current ratings? Having never played I'm just curious to get a feel for what the difference in grades mean and since he seems to really match up with Durham I thought it would be an interesting comparison.

Sorry but I wouldn't know how to find him.  There's no search for player feature and there are like 300 team rosters in the game.

END OF REGULAR SEASON - YEAR 5

Final record was 21-9 (which is 2 more wins than last year), with a 12-4 in conference record.  Yet I finished 5th in the conference (out of 14), which is a step back from last year's 4th.  Must have been a strong year for the A10.  I finished with an RPI of 102, down 20 spots from last year.

IN CONFERENCE STATS/RANKINGS
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG Turnovers Fouls FG% 3PT%
81.4 - 5th 34.7 - 3rd 17.0 - 5th 6.0 - 5th 8.5 - 2nd 425 - 9th 558 - 14th 47.2 - 4th 38.0 - 7th

Stats were up pretty much across the board.

TOP STAT PERFORMERS - YEAR 5
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG
SG S Lawrence - 17.9 C G Wiggins - 8.8 SG S Lawrence - 4.5 SG S Lawrence - 1.0 PF C Owens - 1.9
PF C Owens - 17.7 PF B Royal - 5.8 SG M Stanley - 4.0 PF B Wilkins - 0.9 PF B Wilkins - 1.5
SG M Lowe - 12.4 PF C Owens - 5.7 SG M Lowe - 3.5 C G Wiggins - 0.8 C G Wiggins - 1.1

Lawrence led the team in scoring again.  Wiggins helped in rebounding but wasn't anything special.  Its surprising Owens rebound numbers arent better.  Starting Lowe at PG obviously didn't work.

I beat Massachusetts 81-51 in the Semi Finals.

But I lost 69-83 to Xavier in the Conference Finals.

PLAYERS LEAVING

C Grant Wiggins, 73 OVR, Graduating

SG Sam Lawrence, 79 OVR, Graduating

PF Bobby Royal, 77 OVR, Graduating

SF Doug Durham, 68 OVR, Transferring

So the game doesn't keep career stats, which is a real bummer cause I wanted to do writeups of my graduating players I actually recruited.  Sam Lawrence has been my best player for a few years, he will be remembered as my first solid player.  Doug Durham transferring just continues my issues at SF.
