THE DUKE
What's the height of the roster? Curious to see how your back of the bench freak squad is coming along but can't remember who they all are outside of Gatling and now Boyd.
theJ
Just now, THE DUKE said: What's the height of the roster? BTW i did do a scrimmage so i could see Boyd and his height. He's kind of fat haha.
theJ
Finally got a few minutes at lunch today. Top 25. Roster with heights coming shortly after. Kevin Durant's ability to stay relevant at age 35 is pretty incredible. Looking through the league my roster is obviously tops and it's not even close. Let's see if i can actually repeat this year. 2023-24 Season Top 25 Players Rank Name Position Team OVR 1 Anthony Davis C Hornets 97 2 Ricky Rubio PG Timberwolves 97 3 Bradley Beal SG Clippers 96 4 Dale Burke SF Magic 96 5 Marty McGuire PG Magic 96 6 Dwayne Coleman PF Pistons 96 7 Franklin Lowry PG Celtics 95 8 Dale Person PG Knicks 95 9 Dion Waiters SG Heat 94 10 Elden Samuel PF Grizzlies 94 11 Ernesto Balestrieri SG Knicks 94 12 Kyrie Irving PG Pistons 94 13 Wendell Delk SG Bucks 93 14 Stacey Cheaney PG Bulls 93 15 Rudolph Fordham PG Celtics 93 16 Chester Hall SF Grizzlies 93 17 Derrick Favors PF Jazz 93 18 Dimitris Giannou PG Warriors 93 19 Harry Byrd SF Pacers 93 20 Caron Hanson C Rockets 93 21 Derrick Williams PF Nets 93 22 John Wall PG Wizards 93 23 Enes Kanter C Rockets 92 24 Damon Lillard PG Spurs 92 25 Harrison Barnes SF Thunder 92 26 Kevin Durant SF Trail Blazers 92 27 Gerald Gatson PF Magic

theJ
I'll be changing my coaching strategy again to score score score. Goal is to have the #1 offense, defense be damned.
MKnight82
Your starters are stacked, my only concern would be if your 2nd unit can score. Hughes would be the primary option off the bench but you don't have any other shooters in that group.

But yeah, the bench scoring is a little to be desired.
theJ
Won't be breaking any records this year, but still very obviously the best team in the league. He's doing his job well as the 6th man.
theJ
No contract extensions this year. The only guy up is William Conley, and he wants to test FA. As with recent seasons, i'm just going to post one scouting report at the end of the season. It swings a little wildly at the bottom, and so it'd just be a waste of time. And that's all i have time for today.
THE DUKE
Gatson so close to averaging a double double.

He hasn't topped out on his scoring or rebounding potential, so i think he'll get there eventually. I didn't write down Goodman's stats, but he's close too. I think something like 11 and 9.
theJ
At the break: Marty McGuire (3rd), Dale Burke (8th), Gerald Gatson (1st) All-Stars Hilariously the top 3 in the MVP race are McGuire, Gatson and Burke OMG Dale Burke - Broken Back, out 6-8 weeks just after the All-Star Break, which puts him back right around the playoffs. theJ
So at the break, McGuire, Gatson and Burke were leading the MVP race. But because of Burke's injury, my final record slipped a bit. So neither of them won MVP, and none of them even made an All-NBA team. Ridiculous.
