I did this for 1 reason. I have OF depth and I needed a 2B of the future. Torres provides that in spades. As bD pointed out in our talks, he hits in Yankee Stadium in a deadly lineup. Even if he struggles a bit at the start, he could still be a top tier 2B. OF is easier to find so I took the chance on a top tier prospect over proven production.
