I actually like the length of this game. Far too many games these days put in BS content and side stuff to make the length of the game seem long, but it overstays it's welcome. The masters of doing this is Ubisoft games.

Normally, it's an additional 2-3 planets than what we got. So it's really not that different from normal. We got 2-3 back tracks instead of 2-3 additional planets. But that's fine. And those 2-3 planets are like the one with the giant robot. I'd highly recommend if you have PSNow, playing through A Crack in Time, though, it's amazing.

I finally beat the game. I got all the gold bolts, info bots, lorbs, and armor sets. Took me about 31 hours to finish. Didn't get all the trophies. I never trophy hunt or look at trophies before I play, so I missed a few.

So, the only trophy I can't seem to get is the dang reflector one. Outside of that, I'd have 100% trophies on the game in basically a 18 day period. (Which for me and R&C is a long time).

The original game is basically the same as the 2016 one. It's a different story, but not that different. If you get a chance and have a PS3, play through the R&C remastered collection. I wish they'd remaster the entire main line for the PS2 and PS3 so that I could have those 6 for my PS5. Those are all works of art. My favorite in the entire series is easily A Crack in Time. It's probably the best made one so far. BUT, the PS4 one is still great and one I play all the time.

I wished I had played more R&C games based on your post. But the only one I played was also the only one I bought: Going Commando.

Getting an old PS3 and playing the R&C remastered collection, and then going through and doing Tools of Destruction-A Quest for Booty-A Crack in Time is totally worth the experience. The games are fun, albeit cartoony, but a ton of fun.
