The Ravens just gave Mahomes a potential BFF young left tackle who could pair with him for the bulk of their careers. Last offseason, they traded a DT they couldn't fit on the team to the Steelers. I don't think they care much about avoiding "helping" teams they are competing with. They focus on the right move for their team and don't extrapolate that much.
